GMAT Prep Course Boston - Photo of Student Adeel

Just wanted to let you guys know how the GMAT went yesterday. I went from a 660 to 710 and since I was looking to break 700 I'm very happy with that. My Verbal percentile fell from 97 to 95, probably because I didn't look at verbal at all since the last time I did the GMAT. My math on the other hand went up from 48 percentile to 72, for which I must thank you all.

Meet a Boston GMAT Tutor: Jessica L.

Jessica graduated from Yale with majors in Spanish and Psychology. Jessica says that, while it's a long story, it was ultimately the right choice to enroll in Carroll School of Management at Boston College as her next step. Her impressive GMAT score gave her free reign to choose where to continue her academic career. At the time, Jessica was considering the route of LSAT and bar exam, but her business interests took front seat. Besides, as a Boston native, Jessica was thrilled to come closer to home, where her four brothers and mother also live. With a degree in Psych, not to mention growing up around four boys, Jessica has applied her understanding of how the mind works to the principles of tutoring for test prep.

She enjoys introducing new ways to think about problems to overcome learning obstacles and solve problems with strategies that work. Strict memorization is simply not her style. Her innovative approach brings unexpected excitement to the test prep classroom, and her students' evaluations consistently sing her praises. Jessica is strong in high school math up to pre-calculus, but she's also well studied in English, Spanish, Chemistry, and standardized test prep. She has helped students prepare for the PSATs, SATs, and SAT II, and now she's focusing on the GMAT. Jessica will tell you that she could fill a library with the resources and guides she studied when first preparing for the test, and that ultimately, the secret to GMAT success is "all about practice, practice, practice!".
